My Experience

Professional Background

I am a licensed psychologist in Texas and California with extensive experience in both clinical and forensic psychology. My professional background includes providing psychotherapy, conducting psychological and forensic evaluations, teaching psychology at the college level, and working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I have a particular interest in serving first responders, veterans, and public safety professionals through evidence-based and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychologist - 2017 - Present

I have extensive training in trauma-informed care and have been providing mental health services to diverse populations since 2017.

EMDR Training - 2025

Completed specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to effectively treat trauma and PTSD.

EMDR for 911 Professionals Training - 2026

Participated in training with the EMDIRA to provide specialized support for 911 Professionals.

Master’s Degree in Psychology - 2007

Earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, focusing on therapeutic techniques and client-centered care.

Doctorate Degree in Counseling -2012

Earned a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, with specialized training focused on trauma, PTSD, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. My education emphasized understanding the impact of traumatic experiences and developing effective treatment approaches to support healing, resilience, and long-term psychological well-being.
